Because everyone deserves a little Christmas magic.

And sometimes, even Santa needs a Santa.

A New Templeton Tradition.

Think about the single mom who works all year to make Christmas magical for her kids. Santa comes, the stockings are filled, and there's something under the tree for everyone. But who's thinking about her? Kids notice these things. Or the elderly neighbor spending Christmas alone, again. The hardworking dad who could use a break. The person who always shows up for everyone else, but doesn't have anyone showing up for them.

Those are the people we're looking for.

Elves on Main St. began in 2025 as a Christmas giving initiative through OzzBarn Family Farm. With the generosity of our community, we surprised 12 mothers throughout San Luis Obispo County with personalized Christmas gifts, gas cards, groceries, and more.

This year, we're hoping to reach approximately 20-30 individuals or households, with a more organized, nomination-only selection process and the help of local businesses and community members.

Not Your Typical Christmas Gift Drive.

For one person, Christmas magic might be a basket of homemade bread and a couple thoughtful gifts. For another, it might be a paid power bill, gas cards, or a much-needed set of tires. We're not looking to give everyone the same thing. We're looking to give people something that matters.

Our focus is on those who may be overlooked by traditional holiday programs, who aren't expecting assistance, or who simply need to know someone is thinking of them. A boost in moral. A reminder of how amazing our community is. A gentle pay it forward moment.
